A unique eco-friendly gift that is not only charming, but very easy to care for. Naturally occurring in cold freshwater lakes, these algae balls roll along the lakebed and grow into velvety, perfectly round forms. In Japan, Marimo is considered a symbol of love and luck, with a famous legend of two lovers whose hearts turned into Marimo to stay together forever.
Comes in a glass, corked container that is 20cm in height.
Watering
Marimo come submerged in cold water. This water can be changed every 2-3 weeks with cold tap water or clear rainwater.
Lighting
Marimo will thrive in low light.
Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only.
