An impactful indoor plant with a very easy care routine, Epiphyllum anguliger is native to Mexican rainforests.  It boasts large hanging leaves that curve and droop in a zig zag fishbone style, giving each plant a unique identity.

An epiphytic cactus, it requires minimal watering and barely any sunshine to flourish. Can be hung from a high place to allow its foliage to cascade gracefully from the container, or placed on a shelf or counter top to spread out.

Pot size 12cm. Non toxic to pets.

Did you know?

The Fishbone Cactus has a rich history tied to the rainforests of Mexico, where it grows as an epiphyte among the trees. Its cultivation outside its native region began due to its intriguing shape and the beauty of its nocturnal flowers, which have captivated gardeners and indoor plant enthusiasts for generations.

Watering:

Very minimal watering in the winter, and during summer only water when the compost is totally, totally bone dry. When that time comes, soak it completely.

Lighting:

This plant loves light but ideally not direct sun. It can also do well in shade.

Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves. Collections or 'mixed' listings for plants will be selected dependant on availability and carefully hand-picked to ensure their quality.
