The fiddle leaf gets its name from the shape of its leafs, which look rather like a Fiddle.
In its native habitat in central and west Africa, this plant can grow as tall as 60 metres, with its trunk getting as thick as two metres in diameter. It won’t get anywhere near as big as that indoors, thankfully.
*Pot size varies. Toxic to pets.*
Watering
Dependent on home conditions, pot size and season. Water whenever the top two inches of soil are dry. It needs a lot less water in winter than in summer.
Lighting
It loves a bright room but is not partial to direct sun, so if your room is very sunny, place him away from the window.
Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves. Collections or 'mixed' listings for plants will be selected dependant on availability and carefully hand-picked to ensure their quality.
