Did you know?:
Genus name is from the Latin meaning ‘fig’, the specific epithet is in reference to the milky sap that is produced by the plant.
Watering:
Allow the first 2-3 inches of mix to dry out. Before watering, ensure the substrate isn’t compacted, if it is, aerate it with a few pokes of a skewer or blunt stick, pour water slowly over the top and allow the water to pass through the drainage holes.
Lighting:
These plants can handle a bit more sunshine than most, although do protect from full sun during summer. Bright indirect light, meaning the plant sees 3-4 hours of direct sun is tolerable for Ficus.
Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves. Collections or 'mixed' listings for plants will be selected dependant on availability and carefully hand-picked to ensure their quality.
