Opuntia vestita cristata / 'Crested Cotton Cactus'

A unique cactus, prized for its unusual, fan-shaped growth and woolly white covering. The fine white hairs that coat the cactus protect it from harsh sunlight, giving it a soft, silvery appearance. Its unique growth habit makes it an intriguing addition to any indoor plant collection.

Did you know?

While it rarely blooms indoors, mature specimens may produce small, yellow flowers.

Watering

Dependent on home conditions, pot size and season. Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Reduce significantly in the colder months, water no more than once a month during dormancy.

Lighting

Opuntia vestita cristata thrives in bright, indirect light or a few hours of direct sunlight daily.
