A beautiful decorative plant with deep purple leaves and bell shaped flowers. The leaves grow in threes and resemble butterflies. At night (or on particularly cloudy days) they fold up almost like an umbrella, but they open again with the morning light.
*Pot size 10cm. Toxic to pets.*
Did you know?
Oxalis will start to lose their leaves and go into dormancy towards the end of summer, like a daffodil. Don't worry, stop watering and allow the leaves to die back, water it a little until you see new growth appear again.
Watering
Dependent on home conditions, pot size and season. Water when top few inches of soil are dry and decrease watering during the winter. Do not let soil fully dry out.
Lighting
Plenty of indirect light is best for the Oxalis to thrive.
Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves. Collections or 'mixed' listings for plants will be selected dependent on availability and carefully hand-picked to ensure their quality.
