Philodendron hastatum / Silver Queen

A silvery leafed stunner. This plant is a unique species of Philodendron with mint, waxy leaves. This plant is a climber in it's natural habitat and when it reaches height you can stimulate this behaviour with the addition of a moss pole.

This plant gets the nickname "Silver Queen" due to it's metallic, silvery leaves and it's striking regal look.

Watering

This plant likes a relatively humid environment. Water when soil is dry and ensure there is adequate drainage to prevent root rot.

Lighting

The perfect spot for this plant will be the corner of a bright room as it likes indirect sunlight.
