Ananas comosus / 'Pineapple Plant'

The plant is the same type as you would find in a sub-tropical pineapple plantation, except it will also be right at home here in the UK on your windowsill bearing a much more compact, smaller fruit.

Each plant is delivered with a pineapple fruit already growing so your plant is guaranteed to fruit this year!

The pineapple plant is a member of the Bromeliad family and is native to South America.

Watering
Dependent on home conditions, pot size and season. Allow plant to dry out between waters in the winter months but keep soil moist during the summer months.

Lighting

A bright and warm spot with ample sunlight is best. It will tolerate partial sunlight but is not suited to shaded conditions.
