In the wild, this schefflera is most commonly found in Taiwanese forests, where it might grow as tall as nine metres. Also known as the Umbrella Plant which doesn't sound like the most elegant name in the world, but this plant certainly has some grace and sophistication about it. It has pretty foliage in hues of yellow, gold and green, and has a tendency to grow fast.
Its age dictates its amount of leaves - so a mature plant will have over 12 leaves on one stalk, whereas a younger tree will have between four and six.

Did you know?
